Who we are
The Sonder Hood is a psychotherapy practice at 3Sixty by LMD, New Cairo, Cairo, Egypt. For any question about your information, email inquiries@the-sonderhood.com or message us on WhatsApp at +20 109 429 2553.
Analytics, only if you accept
If you accept the notice at the bottom of the page, we use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people read, the general area they visit from (city or country), their device and browser, and how they found us. It also records when someone taps WhatsApp, our phone number or a form's send button, by channel only. It does not receive your name, your phone number or anything you type into our forms or our therapist finder.
Google Analytics sets two cookies for this, _ga and _ga_542B109XJK, which last up to 13 months. It deletes visit-level data after 14 months; overall totals in its reports are kept longer. Google may process this data outside Egypt.
We use Google Analytics only with your consent. If you decline, it does not load at all. You can change your choice at any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page or the button at the end of this page, and we ask again after 12 months.
Services that load with our pages
Like most websites, our pages load a few services from other companies, which receive your device's internet address: Google Fonts for the lettering on every page, Google Maps for the map on our contact page, and Google Firebase for our newsletter. The Instagram posts at the end of our home page are copies kept on this website (we fetch them through Behold, behold.so), so seeing them sends nothing to Instagram; opening one takes you to Instagram, which has its own privacy policy.
WhatsApp, phone and email
Our booking form, contact form and therapist finder do not store what you type on this website. They prepare a message in WhatsApp, and it reaches us only when you send it. WhatsApp, run by Meta, handles that message under its own privacy policy. Calls and emails reach us directly.
Newsletter
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we keep your email address in our database (Google Firebase) to send you news from The Sonder Hood. Ask us at any time and we will delete it.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing us. What you share in therapy is confidential and is handled separately from this website.
Updates
We will update this page if anything changes. Last updated 29 October 2026.
